Tara Wickens (She/Her)

Tara graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in June 2022 from the University of Calgary and holds a  Bachelor of Science (BSc), major in Psychology, from the University of Alberta (2018).  Tara’s goal for a career once completing her BSW was to work in a school setting, and she is very happy to be working at the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) since finishing in April.  Tara is passionate about supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities and is enjoying assisting youth with disabilities in her current role at the CBE. Tara is excited to learn more about research through volunteering in the multisensory studio and plans to apply for a Master of Social Work in a few years.
